Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is at the heart of a new east London – one where diversity and cultural vibrancy meet economic growth and the city’s newest, cleanest and most sustainable communities.
As the London Legacy Development Corporation – responsible for the redevelopment of the Park - our vision is to drive the legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games to transform the lives of east Londoners.
That means using this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to develop a dynamic new heart for east London, creating opportunities for local people and driving innovation and growth across the city and the UK.
As the UK’s first Mayoral Development Corporation, we not only work directly to develop the Park, but influence and shape the way in which the communities around the Park grow and develop.
This adds up to a blueprint for major change across east London – read more about the ways in which we are putting this into practice below.
