Exercise has plenty of benefits and no matter what your reasons are, there are sessions for everyone to get involved with. Whether you live locally, are new to the Park or on your lunch break, join us to get fit, learn a new sport, have fun, relieve stress, embrace the outdoors or simply just to relax in the Park throughout this sunny month.
Every day in August, a variety of activities will take place across the Park which are open to adults, children and families of all ages and abilities - there literally is something for everyone!
There's over 100 FREE activities to enjoy! Whether you want to join a running group, try canoeing on the Parks' waterways, play soccer, volleyball or stretch your muscles with yoga, you'll be spoilt for choice! You can even use your inspiration from the recent Mȕller Anniversary Games and Athletics World Cup and try athletics on the London Marathon community track next to the London Stadium.
All of the free activities work on a first come, first served basis - no need to book! In particular, the paddle boarding and canoeing sessions prove to be very popular. These sessions consist of a short taster lesson lasting approximately 20 minutes and also work on a first come, first served basis - meaning there is plenty of opportunity for participants to have a go! Please see the timetable below for session timings. There are plenty of other activities going on around the Park to take part in before and after!
