Warmer weather and longer days make it easier to scramble your way around the Park this Easter. You’ll be spoilt for choice with plenty of things to do at the Park – whatever your age or interest. With the Central line, Jubilee line, Overground and several other public transport routes servicing Stratford, the Park is practically on your doorstep!

Start your holidays on a high at The ArcelorMittal Orbit, with extended opening hours between 10am – 7pm from Monday 30 March – Sunday 15 April. The adventure starts with a journey up to the viewing platform, hovering 80 metres above the ground for stunning skyline views of London. On the upper viewing platforms, the huge concave mirrors are popular with kids as they turn the view upside down and they can also learn about the popular skyline on the interactive touchscreens.

Or if you’re craving that shell-shocked feeling, upgrade your ticket and descent back down to Earth in The Slide at ArcelorMittal Orbit. The exhilarating ride takes you through 12 twists, loops and curves in the 178 meter long tunnel, which makes it both the highest and longest tunnel slide in the world! Tickets for The Slide almost sold out last year, so we strongly advise booking online and in advance! Please note, riders must be aged eight or over and at least 1.3 metres tall.

Taking place throughout the entire Easter holidays (and beyond!), the popular funfair will take over Stratford Waterfront from Friday 30 March – Sunday 7 May. Bringing a collection of exciting and adrenaline-fuelled rides, children can prepare for hours of energy-filled fun with dodgems, jumping frogs and carousels galore – 12 midday – 9pm every day.

Why not bring the family to the London Aquatics Centre and duck, jump, run and dive off the large inflatable obstacle course at the Aqua Splash and Extreme Aqua Splash sessions? Take it one step further and take on Ultimate Aqua Splash – an obstacle course that starts with an inflatable slide from the diving platforms! Limited spaces are available, so make sure you book in advance. If you’re looking for other ways to make a splash, then why not bring the family down for a swimming or diving session instead?

Kids can also ride in the paths of Dame Sarah Storey and Sir Chris Hoy this Easter! Bring your aspiring athletes to Lee Valley VeloPark for some cycling fun, with an opportunity to ride on the 42 degree velodrome track. There are BMX, mountain biking, and road cycling sessions too, with everything from beginner’s sessions to the more competent riders. These sessions sell out quickly, so be sure to book online and in advance.

Couldn't get the time off work over the Easter break? Take your kids to a Fit For Sport session inside The Box That Rocks! With half-day (9.30am - 1pm) and full day (8.30 - 5.30pm) sessions available, these are fun and healthy alternatives to traditional holiday camps, for boys and girls aged from 5 – 12 years old. Each day consists of different sports including swimming at the London Aquatics Centre, games, arts and crafts, and other egg-stremely fun Easter themed activities! Sessions take place from Tuesday 3 – Friday 6 April and Monday 9 – Friday 13 April, make sure you book in advance.

If that’s not enough egg-citement for now, then be sure to bring your pride and watch the London Lions in the Box That Rocks. With four home fixtures over the Easter holidays, support the local team against Newcastle Eagles on Friday 30 March, Leicester Riders on Sunday 1 April, Plymouth Raiders on Wednesday 4 April and Worcester Wolves on Sunday 15 April.

The popular boat tours and swan pedalos will return on Friday 30 March! Relax and unwind on a guided boat tour along the river than runs through the Park and learn more about the beautiful landscape and iconic venues in the Park. Or, let loose on the swan pedalos and entertain yourself on the river. The tours are accessible on the pontoon adjacent to the London Aquatics Centre, simply turn up and enjoy – subject to availability.

There are hundreds of acres of beautiful parklands at the Park, which you can explore on our trails and playgrounds. The sporty ones amongst us who want to relive the 2012 Games can measure themselves up against the world’s best athletes in our London 2012 trail. Additionally, young detectives can unlock the Park’s secret missions and collect stamps along the way in our interactive Children’s trail

Finish your day off in the interactive water fountains outside the London Stadium and ArcelorMittal Orbit. Returning for the spring and summer season, the popular fountains are great for running around, playing and cooling down after an adventurous day on the Park!
