Building on the research and public engagement work of Dr Clive Nwonka, whose Black Arsenal project examines the club’s unique relationship with Black British culture, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the connections between football, music, fashion and community, and the ways these influences continue to shape cultural life in London and beyond.

Presented in collaboration with Arsenal Football Club and Adidas, this free summer exhibition brings together visual works and interpretive displays inspired by the themes of the Black Arsenal project. Through a range of installations and perspectives, visitors can explore stories of identity, creativity and belonging both on and off the pitch.
