The excellent facilities at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre include two hockey pitches, four indoor tennis courts and six outdoor courts, available for public use, all year round. A state of the art clubhouse offers changing rooms, bar and areas to relax and socialise.
Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre encourages local players and beginners to hone their skills in an inspiring environment of excellence and expertise, which includes a 3,000-seat hockey stadium with the flexibility to increase capacity to 15,000 for big competitions.
The Centre offers a range of tennis sessions, from children’s tennis lessons to cardio tennis on indoor and outdoor courts. If it’s hockey you’re into, groups and clubs can book to play hockey on the two striking Union Jack fringed pitches or get involved in with courses and activity sessions.
Since hosting Wheelchair Tennis at the 2012 Games, Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre has continued to promote the sport, providing coaching and facilities for local and national players. The Centre has hosted many high-profile events, including the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Masters and the 2015 EuroHockey Championships, as well as the 2018 Women's Hockey World Cup. The centre regularly hosts both men's and women's international hockey matches, keep your eyes peeled for tickets!
