London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) has launched its Framework for Inclusive Growth, marking a significant next phase in the evolution of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The Framework outlines out how the Park will build on the legacy of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games to continue delivering long‑term benefits for local communities and the wider city. Developed in collaboration with partners, it sets out a shared vision for inclusive growth that harnesses the Park’s assets and east London’s diverse talent, aligns partners to co-invest and innovate and invites communities, businesses and institutions to shape the Park’s next chapter. 

The Framework focuses on three interconnected pillars: Habitat, creating a sustainable environment where people, nature and enterprise can thrive; Inclusive Talent, opening pathways into future jobs for east London’s diverse communities; and Health and Wellbeing, using the Park as a place to test new ideas that support healthier and fairer lives. 

Complementing the Framework is an Economic and Social Impact Report, produced independently by Prior + Partners, which offers a comprehensive assessment of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park’s economic, social, cultural and environmental impact up to the end of 2024. Providing essential context to the Framework, the report details the progress made to date, the conditions that enabled it and the opportunities ahead. An accompanying Investment Prospectus, to be published in 2026, will set out how these ambitions will be delivered. An accompanying Investment Prospectus, to be published in 2026, will set out how these ambitions will be delivered. 

The Framework identifies immediate actions and next steps, including early proposals for collective investment and impact. It also outlines LLDC’s intention to establish an outcomes framework to measure success of its collective efforts to deliver vibrant mixed-use neighbourhoods, good jobs, better health, more start-ups and scale-ups, greater opportunity for innovation and a stronger sense of belonging in the Park’s spaces. 

Since 2012, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park has evolved into a place where cultural institutions, research networks, businesses, sports venues and local communities come together, supporting a broad mix of opportunities for local people. East Bank, a cultural district within the Park, integrates education, creativity and enterprise. As one of London’s three innovation districts, the Park offers space for collaboration, research and development.
