East Summer School 2026 Booking Conditions

About the Programme

This year’s Summer School will run from 27 July to 7 August and is open to young people aged 12–17 living in East London. Applications must be submitted by 12 July 2026.

Applications will be reviewed based on the applicant’s interest and enthusiasm for the selected course(s), with priority given to young people living in Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.

Please note that a limited number of workshop spaces may still be available, and applications will remain open until 17 July, subject to availability.

Booking Policy

By submitting an application, you agree to the following:

• All information provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
• Contact details must be correct so we can contact you about your application and any course updates.
• If any additional support or reasonable adjustments are needed, these should be clearly included in the application form.
• Applying does not guarantee a place.
• A place is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email or letter from us.
• Please only apply for courses you are available to attend and intend to take part in according to the age criteria.

If you are no longer able to attend, you must let us know as soon as possible so the place can be offered to someone else.

Although the workshops are free of charge, our delivery partners commit significant time, staffing and resources based on confirmed bookings. We therefore ask applicants to apply responsibly and only where they fully intend to attend.

Application Process

The application form should take approximately 5–10 minutes to complete.

Course details and the timetable are available on our website.

If the form is completed more than once, we will assume the most recent submission is the correct one and earlier versions will be deleted.

If the applicant is under 18, an adult may complete the form on behalf of the young person where needed.

Missing or inaccurate information may delay the processing of the application.

Waiting List

• If a course reaches full capacity, applicants may be placed on a waiting list.
• If a place becomes available, we will contact applicants on the waiting list directly using the contact details provided.
• Being placed on a waiting list does not guarantee a place.

Attendance and Cancellations

By applying, you confirm that you are doing so with the intention of attending the selected course(s).

If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible. This helps us manage places fairly and offer spaces to others on the waiting list.

Please note that repeated non-attendance without notice may affect future bookings.
