Get involved with Academy Breakin' Convention's (ABC) open day for their Hip Hop Education course at Sadler's Wells East part of East Bank. Want to learn more about ABC? Whether you are a teacher, student, parent or carer - join ABC on 2 February and 21 March for an open day at Sadler's Wells East. Academy Breakin’ Convention (ABC) is the UK’s first free Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performance and Production Arts specific to Hip Hop Theatre for 16 – 19 year olds*. The course fills a gap in professional pathways for new artists and entrepreneurs who want to work in the creative industries and focus on hip hop culture. ABC is based at Sadler’s Wells East, part of East Bank at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
On the course students will engage in:
- 12 units of UAL’s Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performance and Production Arts
- ABC‘s hip hop elements: Hip Hop Social Dance, Popping, Breaking, Emceeing, DJing, Graffiti and Music Production
- Wellbeing and self-development sessions
- Industry and career progression sessions
- The creation and devising of theatrical work
