Building on this Olympic legacy, our community sport initiatives provide accessible opportunities for people of all ages and abilities across East London to get active, improve their wellbeing, and enjoy the benefits of sport in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Bikeworks
Bikeworks
Bikeworks is a social enterprise who run weekly all ability cycling sessions. This is a cycling club open to all with a range of adapted cycles so is accessible to all regardless of age, disability or experience. You can try out single/tandem tricycles, side-by-side cycles for two or more people, wheelchair platform cycles and go-kart style recumbent cycles. With staff on hand to show you how it all works, you’ll then be free to cycle and the green spaces of the Park.

The E20 Football Academy offers children, young people and adults of all backgrounds and abilities the opportunity to enjoy and participate in training mentored by qualified and experienced coaches. The football delivery model focuses on player technical development and is delivered at Chobham Academy football pitches throughout the week.

Badu Sports
Badu is a community focused group providing sport programmes in east London. On top of their wide ranging line up of activities, next year will hopefully see the launch of the Badu Centre of Excellence. The centre will be an elite level sports facility that highlights female leadership in coaching and participation. The four main sports that will be housed at the Centre are tennis, netball, football and basketball with accessibility and inclusivity at the heart.

The London Marathon Community Track (LMCT) plays a key role in the community, as a multi-use sport, education and event space. Since 2018, the LMCT has welcomed an attendance of over 250,000 spread across several charity events, community sport, and school’s activity.

Open for everyone to come together and watch, participate and move, The Dance Floor is home to dance classes & workshops, community and artist takeovers, family activities, open dance sessions, talks, DJ nights and more.
Get involved with one of their regular classes like Lunchtime Dance Classes, Open Dance, Family Freestyle and Get Into Dance which offer a mix of styles for you to try out.
