London Legacy Development Corporation has appointed a Director of Commercial and Park Marketing to help establish Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park as a new part of the city.

Sarah Bentley joins the London Legacy Development Corporation from Lloyds Banking Group London 2012 Team where she was Senior Manager of Activations and Communications.

Sarah will lead and support all commercial and marketing functions on behalf of the Legacy Corporation. Her role will be to establish the Park as a must see visitor destination as well as one of the leading places in London to live, work and do business.

Sarah said: “I am delighted to join the Legacy Corporation and look forward to helping to deliver a lasting legacy for east London with the creation of an exciting new visitor destination incorporating world class sporting facilities for all to enjoy. It’s fantastic to have the opportunity to work on such an exciting project and to play a part in the legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.”

Previously Sarah has worked for CSS Stellar Ltd (a Sports Marketing & Management Company) where she managed the commercial programmes for both the Team England Football and Team England Rugby. Sarah worked with both the FA and the RFU where she managed complex contract negotiations and maximised the commercial value of the collective Intellectual Property Rights of both the England Football and England Rugby teams.
