An unexplained metal object found during site works in the south of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is currently under investigation. We are working closely with the Metropolitan Police to assess the situation and decide on the steps required to safely identify and remove the object. As a precaution, a limited cordon of 150 metres has been put in place which will mean the closure of a small area in the south of the Park. Some paths will be closed as a result, and diversions will be put in place..
