Bus route 588, the temporary shuttle service introduced on 13 July 2013 between Stratford City bus station and Hackney Wick, will be withdrawn and replaced this weekend by the permanent extension of route 388.
Route 388 will be extended from Hackney Wick to Stratford City bus station via Eastway, Lee Interchange, Waterden Road, Westfield Avenue and Montfichet Road.
Buses will terminate at stop U on Montfichet Road and pick up from stop W at Stratford City bus station.
The last day of operation for route 588 will be 13 December 2013.
