The London Legacy Development Corporation is responsible for the redevelopment of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the regeneration of its surrounding communities. The Park is a sensational destination, with a selection of spectacular locations for outdoor events and iconic venues, which will form the spectacular setting for five new neighbourhoods and for a higher education and cultural district, offering thousands of new homes, creating new connections, and generating jobs and growth for local communities. Our mission is to use the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of the London 2012 Games to create a dynamic new heart for east London, creating opportunities for local people and driving innovation and growth in London and the UK, by developing an inspiring and innovative place where people want to live, work and visit.
We are now looking to recruit to various posts within the Development Directorate to help us deliver this vision. Our projects include delivering the Legacy Communities Scheme - the Park Masterplan for five new residential neighbourhoods, as well as commercial, education, recreational and other developments across the Park, and the wider development of three new district centres at Hackney Wick, Bromley by Bow and Pudding Mill Lane, where we are working with landowners and developers to help implement our vision. We are also tasked with delivering the Olympicopolis project – our ambitious plans for a new Cultural and University Quarter that will be home to the London College of Fashion, Sadler’s Wells, Victoria and Albert Museum and University College London.
If you share our ambition and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please come and work with us.
