The Planning Policy and Decisions Team manages planning applications for schemes within the Legacy Corporation area.  In the coming years, we will be handling planning applications which will help create a world class education and cultural district on the Park that will bring together outstanding organisations, such as the V&A, Sadlers Wells, University College London and the London College of Fashion, showcasing exceptional art, dance, history, craft, science, technology and cutting edge design.

If you are looking for a job with lots of variety that will build up your technical skills, this could be the career for you. This 2 year apprenticeship programme  is designed to equip you with the skills necessary for a career as a planning technician and together with further study and training, a fully qualified town planner.

Who are we looking for?

You must be well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks, have lots of enthusiasm and a positive can do attitude with a strong desire to succeed. You will need to be dedicated and eager to learn as well as having attention to detail with the ability to be able to think on your feet.
