£38,888 per annum
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is at the heart of a new east London – one where diversity and cultural vibrancy meet the economic growth and the city’s newest, cleanest and most sustainable communities.
As the London Legacy Development Corporation – responsible for the redevelopment of the park – our vision is to drive the legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games to transform the lives of east Londoners. More than 5,000 people have already played a part in building and transforming the Park and in total more than 20,000 jobs could be created by the Park by 2030.
In the future, the Park will become home to big and small companies as well as continuing to encourage growth in existing business within the area.
This exciting and new role will support the delivery of the Socio Economic Regeneration Programme on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Assisting the Project Leads, you will manage the work streams necessary to deliver the LLDC’s programme on the Park whilst ensuring safe, secure, timely and cost effective delivery of projects. As Project Manager you will assume responsibility for all internal and external project meetings and apply appropriate project management delivery strategies to ensure a successful outcome. Through close collaboration with project partners you will ensure performance and outputs are within the scope of time, budget and specification.
To be successful in this role you must be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience have a professional qualification in Project or Programme Management. You will already have experience of working on large scale, complex projects and have experience of working in a high profile stakeholder environment, working on projects with a network of complex stakeholders.
A part of this role will be to commission and manage consultants and delivery partners so evidence of experience in undertaking public sector procurement and contract management is desirable and an ability to establish and maintain strong and effective relationships with contractors and partners as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential.
