The Role

The London Legacy Development Corporation is looking for an efficient and professional receptionist to manage a busy switchboard and provide a warm and friendly welcome to visitors to our offices.  As the first point of contact you will act as an ambassador for the organisation and ensure that that you provide a positive image of the organisation at all times and all visitors receive a high level of customer service.    You will be required to take calls from the general public as well as our partners and stakeholders; so a confident telephone manner and the ability to effectively manage calls is essential.  A part of this role will be to provide administrative support to the Facilities Manager and basic diary management for the Executive Director of Park Operations & Venues. You will be producing high quality documentation and assisting with finance administration.  You will also act as the first point of contact for facilities issues and will proactively monitor and track any reported issues to ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner.  This is a varied and interesting role and a chance to be involved with one of the most exciting regeneration projects in London.  If you are confident with a friendly and professional attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service standards we look forward to hearing from you.

The Person

Knowledge and Experience

To apply for this role, you must possess solid English and numeracy skills and have previous experience of managing a busy switchboard.  The successful candidates will have experience of prioritising and managing conflicting demands to ensure high service levels and previous experience of working in facilities would be desirable.  As this role includes administrative duties we would be looking for candidates with a working knowledge of the Microsoft office packages including; Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook.

Skills and Abilities

Strong interpersonal skills are essential in this role in addition to excellent verbal and written communications.  To be a successful Receptionist/Administrator at LLDC you will need to have customer service skills that are second to none and have the ability to differentiate between the needs of a diverse range of customers to provide an efficient and proactive service.  As the front of house contact you will need to be well presented and professional at all times.
