Project Lead – Olympicopolis – Delivering University College London (East)

A number of world-class institutions have made plans to set up a permanent presence on this site, one of which will be UCL East. This site will be the location for the new university campus for University College London (UCL) and we are looking for commercially astute and delivery focused individual, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to lead this exciting project.
Providing senior level support to the Executive Director of Development, the Project Lead will directly manage the delivery of UCL East development project. You will have a small internal team and an external team of specialist consultants to lead and manage and you will also act as the senior level interface between LLDC and its partners on the project. As the Project Lead you will manage the project outputs, risk issues and performance measures and will oversee change control for the project working with UCL to ensure full compliance to LLDC policies, procedures and legal agreements.
To apply for this role you must have a post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline, and/or experience in the development sector with significant, demonstrable experience in the delivery of major complex development projects. You will need to have a strong understanding of property development, financial analysis and funding mechanisms and also have experience of identifying a range of analytical approaches and applying them innovatively. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
The Project Lead will need to be a self-starter, highly motivated and independent and be able to set themselves challenging but achievable objectives and will demonstrate a high level of personal and professional credibility.
