Formed in April 2012, the London Legacy Development Corporation’s purpose is to use the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of the London 2012 Games and the creation of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to develop a dynamic new heart for east London, creating opportunities for local people and driving innovation and growth in London and the UK.
We are now looking to recruit an exceptional and dynamic Head of Security and Park Safety within our Park Operations and Venues Directorate.
The Head of Security and Park Safety will be responsible for the maintenance of robust security strategies, programmes, and arrangements across the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and providing a safety assurance role for events. This is a key role in ensuring a safe, quality park, incorporating world class venues and events at its heart.
You will develop and maintain strong relationships with the Metropolitan Police on a London wide basis and at a local borough level. You will work closely with key stakeholders and be aware at all times of any security threats or matters that may affect the Park.
You will have an appropriate security and safety background and understanding and possess first class communication skills to engage with all security personnel working across the park for various operators.
