Throughout every day in August, a variety of activities will take place across the Park which are open to adults, children and families of all ages and abilities - there's something for everyone!
There's over 300 FREE activities to enjoy! Whether you want to join a running group, try canoeing on the Parks' waterways or feel like you're by the seaside at beach cricket, soccer, volleyball or yoga, you'll be spoilt for choice! You can even use your inspiration from the recent World Para Athletics Championships and have-a-go at a variety of Para Sports, including Boccia, Sitting Volleyball and New Age Kurling. Download the timetable to find out more.
All of the free activities work on a first come, first served basis - no need to book! We have received numerous enquiries about paddle boarding and canoeing recently. These sessions consist of a short taster lesson lasting approximately 20 minutes and also work on a first come, first served basis - meaning there is plenty of opportunity for participants to have a go! Please see the timetable below for session timings. There are plenty of other activities going on around the Park to take part in before and after!
Due to popular demand, MORE paddle boarding sessions have been added. In addition to the paddle boarding scheduled for Tuesday's throughout August, extra sessions have been added on Wednesday (23 and 30 August) and Thursday (24 and 31 August) from 10am - 3pm!
