A Spectator Plaza at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will be open this Friday (30 October) for rugby fans with tickets for Rugby World Cup 2015 Bronze Final.
The plaza, which will be located on the northern end of Stadium Island, will offer ticket holders musical entertainment plus food and drink prior to the Bronze Final game at the Stadium. Opening hours of the plaza will be between 4pm to 6.30pm. The Bronze final will see South Africa and Argentina competing for third place.
Five piece band Candy Apple Blue who have previously performed at the Mayor’s Newham Show, will be performing a range of popular hits, both old and new, on the bandstand at 4.30pm and 5.15pm.
Spectator Plaza follows the highly successful Newham Fanzone which was open on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, during the earlier stages of Rugby World Cup 2015. More than 60,000 rugby fans enjoyed the tournament in an iconic location with visits from Rugby legends Jonah Lomu, Kyran Bracken, Serge Betsen and Justin Marshall.
Admittance to Spectator Plaza is for Bronze Final ticket holders only.
