Hub 67 is a new place in Hackney Wick / Fish Island for young people and local residents. The project is about investing in people as well as a building.  It is about piloting new approaches and trialling new ideas; new ways of building – using recycled and reclaimed materials, new ways of working - with the community acting as client to help deliver a fresh and flexible take on what a modern day youth and community space can be. Keep your eyes peeled for an exciting programme of events and workshops coming soon to Hub 67!

Throughout the next few months you can get stuck in with helping to construct key parts of the new centre! The first few weeks will focus on actually making the interactive metal installation that fixes onto the outside of the building and following this you can help to create the large chandelier that will hang from the mail hall in the Hub! The next participation session will be on Thursday 30 October, 6pm - 8pm.

Meet at the King’s Yard Energy Centre. Pizza and refreshments will be provided!
