View Tube

Situated on the southern fringe of the Park with a fantastic view of London Stadium, London Aquatics Centre and the ArcelorMittal Orbit, you can’t miss the View Tube. It’s bright green and made from recycled shipping containers!

Open seven days a week, the View Tube serves as an education and arts centre, teaching local kids about sustainability and regeneration and providing a space for community art projects.

With its own cottage garden, bikes for hire and Moka Café serving fresh, local and homemade treats, the View Tube brings the concept of green living into everyday life.

  • For more information on the View Tube, watch this film put together by the team.

  • The View Tube lies on the Greenway, a raised walking route following the Northern Outfall Sewer which stretches from Hackney Wick to Beckton, and offers great views out over the south of the Park.

You can join the Greenway at Old Ford Lock if coming from the west, or via a diversion by Pudding Mill Lane DLR from the east. The section of the route near the Park is closed at night and is regularly used by cyclists.
