We are also working with a number of organisations that are helping to create pathways for young people leaving school and university.

Fit for Sport

Fit for Sport was founded in 1991, when a PE teacher launched a kids camp during the Easter holidays. Today it provides activities for children and young people across health, fitness and sport and keeps over 250,000 children active each week through its school partnership programmes.

Fit for Sport trains and supports individuals to work in health clubs, leisure trusts and management organisations that offer activities for children and young people, and works with schools to increase the quality of their physical activity programmes. Fit for Sport are working with us to maximise training and apprenticeship opportunities in and around the Park.

Active Apprentice launched in May 2014 to provide work and training for a number young people who live in the boroughs of Newham, Hackney, Tower Hamlets & Waltham Forest  to activate the Park.
