Cofely have the ‘Estate Facilities Management’ contract which means that they look after park buildings including the Aquatics Centre, the Copper Box Stadium and Here East.

The team also operate and maintain the ArcelorMittal Orbit and are responsible for the entire parkland, including all waterways and highways. Some of this work is carried out by other companies on its behalf.

The park’s low carbon district energy network was designed, financed and constructed by Cofely to serve the venues during and after the Games.  The network provides low carbon combined cooling heating and power and generates electrical power.  This will save an estimated 11,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year by 2015, compared to traditional heating and cooling plants.
