Using the parklands, venues and waterways as an inspiring learning environment, teachers and pupils can visit the Park and enjoy the experience in our amazing outdoor classroom.

The Go! Move learning resources challenge students to answer the question “What can we do to help everyone stay active and healthy?” Students will investigate different ways to be physically active and ways of promoting the benefits of activity to others.

Whether your activities take place in the classroom (Bronze), your local community (Silver) or on the Park (Gold), our Everybody Moving Film Storyboard, Go! Move Exercise Routine and Filming in the Park resources are sure to bring them to life!

Bronze activities – students analyse a variety of media campaigns (including ‘This Girl Can’) that aim to encourage people to take part in sport and exercise. Students then complete a detailed storyboard for their own film designed to get everybody moving.

Silver activities – students plan, design and perform an exercise routine for a local community group. They work in small groups to analyse their target user group, design a circuit of exercises, produce a step-by-step exercise guide, and finally practise and perform their new routine.

Gold activities – students first complete the ‘Bronze’ and ‘Silver’ activities in preparation for their visit to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park where they will film a one minute promotional film, which must include shots of the group performing their exercise routine on site.
