Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Launches New Tours

Story 19/03/2017

Come and see the fantastic 2012 legacy in action and tour the Park with one of the registered Blue Badge Guides who have been welcoming guests since before the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Five years on from the 2012 Games, the London Legacy Development Corporation has launched a new tour of the Park for the groups travel market.

With over 560 acres of Park to explore, the new groups tour packages take in some of the Park’s iconic venues and give visitors the chance to learn about the remarkable history and exciting future plans for this historic area of London.

Combinations of tours are available including visits to the ArcelorMittal Orbit, the London Stadium tour and entry to the London Aquatics Centre and the Lee Valley VeloPark. The shortest tour lasts for two hours, with the full Park and venue visit package taking five hours.

Peter Tudor, Director of Visitor Services, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, said: “Group organisers have long been asking us to create a tour of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park that includes all of our wonderful venues, and with the Stadium now open, we are delighted to be able to offer a range of itineraries for the groups travel market.

People can tailor their tours to best suit their needs. With the Park set for another busy summer of sport, there’s no better time to come and explore.  We look forward to welcoming you all to the Park soon to explore our incredible venues.”

Prices start from £26.50 for adults, with concession rates available.
