JANUARY SALE - 50% OFF GENERAL ENTRY TO ARCELORMITTAL ORBIT

Story 04/01/2017

Looking to cure your January blues? Forget Oxford Street, Regent Street and Covent Garden, this January the best place to pick up a bargain is at the ArcelorMittal Orbit here on the Park. Visitors to the UK’s most exciting viewing platform can take advantage of a massive 50% off general entry tickets meaning a family of four can enjoy breath-taking views of up to 20 miles across London from as little as £13 when booked in advance.

Only five stops away from St Paul’s and only a seven minute ride away from St. Pancras on The Javelin, the unmissable viewing experience is practically on your doorstep. Visitors will journey 114.5m into the clouds and explore London’s famous skyline from stunning floor to ceiling windows before experiencing the city’s landmarks from the outside observation walkway suspended 80m above the ground. There’s loads to see from the ArcelorMittal Orbit’s two viewing platforms from Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral and the O2 to a birds eye view of the iconic London 2012 venues. Visitors can even get up close to London’s landmarks with innovative and interactive touchscreens that allow them to zoom into the view and learn more about the city.

Famously designed by Sir Anish Kapoor and Cecil Balmond for the London 2012 Games, the ArcelorMittal Orbit perfectly combines awe-inspiring city views with fun and contemporary art. Visitors can interact with the sculpture itself, have fun flipping the horizon in Anish Kapoor’s two huge concave mirrors and challenge their friends and family to descend the 455 steps that wind their way around the sculpture immersing visitors in a sound gallery of distinctive London sounds.

The promotion is valid from 4 - 31 January either online, by phone or in person and tickets must be redeemed between 4 January and 10 February 2017.

Those brave enough to ride The Slide, the world’s tallest and longest tunnel slide, can upgrade their ticket for just £5 on the day.  The exhilarating experience will see visitors travel at speeds of up to 15mph along the 178m slide as it twists and turns 12 times around the sculpture from the viewing platforms to the ground.
