Competition Terms and Conditions

E-NEWSLETTER LONDON 2012 TRACK COMPETITION (NOW CLOSED)

1. This competition is open to UK residents only, except for employees of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) or LS185, their families or anyone else associated with this competition.

2. One entrant shall win one boxed piece of the London 2012 Track.

3. Entries are open to subscribers of the monthly e-newsletter for the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Entries should be submitted by answering the question and entering your contact details into the box provided.

4. All entries must be received by 23.59pm on Sunday 17 September. 

5. A winner will be selected by random on Monday 18 September and contacted by email within two days of the draw. The winner has 48 hours to return to the winning notification email to claim the prize before a runner up is contacted.

6. By entering this competition, you grant LLDC permission to use images of you using the prize in any of their publications, websites and/or in any promotional material.

7. The prize will only be delivered to one location within the UK.

8. LLDC will take no responsibility for any damage or loss that occurs during delivery of the prize.

9. The prize is non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.

ACTIVE AUGUST #ITSMYTURN COMPETITION (NOW CLOSED)

1. This competition is open to UK residents only, except for employees of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), their families or anyone else associated with this competition.

2. One entrant shall win one two passes to Ride The Slide at the ArcelorMittal Orbit and a taster session for two on the velodrome track at Lee Valley VeloPark.

3. Entries should be submitted by uploading a photo from an Active August session on the Park onto Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the #ItsMyTurn. This must be your own photo and you must have received permission from anyone else captured in the photo.

4. All entries must be received by 23.59pm on Sunday 10 September. 

5. A winner will be selected by random on Monday 11 September and contacted by email within two days of the draw. The winner has 48 hours to return to the winning notification email to claim the prize before a runner up is contacted.

6. By entering this competition, you grant LLDC permission to use images of you using the prize in any of their publications, websites and/or in any promotional material.

7. The prize is subject to availability at time of booking.

8. LLDC will take no responsibility for any damage or loss that occurs while undertaking the prize.

9. The prize is non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.

Chocolate ArcelorMittal Orbit sculpture competition! (Now closed)

1. This competition is open to UK residents only, except for employees of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) or ArcelorMittal Orbit, their families or anyone else associated with this competition.

2. One entrant shall win a chocolate sculpture of the ArcelorMittal Orbit.

3. Entries should be submitted by entering your contact details into the box provided.

4. All entries must be received by closing time at the ArcelorMittal Orbit on Monday 17 April. 

5. A winner will be selected by random on Tuesday 18 April and contacted within three days of the draw. The winner has 48 hours to claim the prize before a runner up is contacted.

6. By entering this competition, you grant LLDC permission to use images of you using the prize in any of their publications, websites and/or in any promotional material.

7. The prize will only be delivered to one location within the UK.

8. LLDC and the ArcelorMittal Orbit take no responsibility for any damage that occurs during delivery or consumption of the prize.

9. The winner accepts that the chocolate sculpture is also made up of non-edible items and is therefore eaten at their own risk.

10. All prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.

ENEWSLETTER EASTER FUNFAIR COMPETITION (NOW CLOSED)

1. This competition is open to anyone, except for employees of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), their families or anyone else associated with this competition.

2. Entries are made by filling in the entry form on the link provided from the monthly Enewsletter.

3. All entries must be received by 4pm on Friday 7 April 2017 to be eligible to win the prize. The winner will be notified within the same day and must claim the prize before 12 noon on Monday 10 April 2017.

4. One entrant shall win 4 wristbands, to be used at George Irvin’s Easter Funfair on Stratford Waterfront on Tuesday 11 April between 12noon - 3pm or 3pm - 6pm.

5. All prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.

EASTER EGG HUNT - FUNFAIR COMPETITION (NOW CLOSED)

1. This competition is open to anyone, except for employees of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), their families or anyone else associated with this competition.

2. Entries are made by finding an Easter egg icons/link on the website which takes you through to an entry form.

3. All entries must be received by 9pm on Tuesday 4 April 2017 to be eligible to win the prize. The winner will be notified within the same week.

4. Two entrants shall win 20 ride tokens each, to be used at George Irvin’s Funfair on Stratford Waterfront before Monday 17 April 2017.

5. All prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.

RIDE THE SLIDE EMAIL COMPETITION (NOW CLOSED)

1. This competition is open to anyone, except for employees of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), their families or anyone else associated with this competition.

2. Entries should be submitted by answering the question correctly on the webpage, along with filling out your name and email address so we can contact the winner.

3. All entries must be received by 23:59pm on Tuesday 28 Feburary 2017 to be eligible to win the prize.

4. Entrants may only enter the competition once. Anyone who enters twice or more may be disqualified. 

5. The winning entries: First all correctly answered questions will be filtered, before 10 people will be randomly selected to win a pair of tickets each to Ride The Slide.

6. Ten entrants shall win a pair of tickets to Ride The Slide each. Travel and accommodation costs are not included in the prize.

7. All prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.

#MYPERFECTPARK INSTAGRAM COMPETITION (NOW CLOSED)

1. This competition is open to anyone, except for employees of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), their families or anyone else associated with this competition.

2. Entries should be submitted by tagging the image you would like to enter on Instagram with #myperfectpark and #qeop.

3. All entries must be received by 23:59pm on 31 January 2017 to be eligible to win the prize.

4. All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them and must not have been published elsewhere. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject. 

5. By entering an image into this competition, you grant LLDC permission to use the image in any of their publications, websites and/or in any promotional material connected to this competition.

6. The winning entry will be judged on its aesthetic ability to capture the spirit of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in the autumn and winter seasons. The LLDC competition judge’s decision will be final.

7. One entrant shall win a VIP Park experience for up to 4 people and the winners may be required to take part in publicity. Travel and accommodation costs are not included in the prize.

8. All prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.

FACEBOOK FUNFAIR COMPETITION (NOW CLOSED)

1. This competition is open to anyone, except for employees of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), their families or anyone else associated with this competition.

2. Entries are made by liking the Facebook post.

3. All entries must be received by 11am on Wednesday 15 February 2017 to be eligible to win the prize. The winner will be notified on the same day.

4. One entrant shall win 20 ride tokens to be used at George Irvin’s Funfair on Stratford Waterfront before Sunday 19 February.

5. All prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
